Keep your pet happy & healthy

Puppies get their first vaccinations at 6-8 weeks. Make sure to get health records for your new puppy so you know what vaccinations they have already received and have a written record of those vaccines.

According to the AKC your puppies shot schedule will look similar to this. (Please consult your vet for their specific reccommendations.)

6 - 8 weeks - Distemper, measles, parainfluenza, Bordetella (optional)
10 - 12 weeks - DHPP (vaccines for distemper, adenovirus [hepatitis], parainfluenza, and parvovirus), Bordetella (optional)
12 - 24 weeks - Rabies
14 - 16 weeks - DHPP
12 - 16 months Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella (optional)
Every 1 - 2 years - DHPP, Bordetella (optional)
Every 1 - 3 years - Rabies (as required by law)
