COVID-19 Policies
Pin It

Our clients and staff are the heart and soul of our veterinary hospital. In order to keep ourselves and our clients safe and healthy we would like to share a few new temporary guidelines due to COVID-19 to keep in mind when visiting our hospital.

We are opening our doors to you!

We still value your safety and will be putting some minor restrictions in place for the continued COVID pandemic. If you are sick or feeling sick, recently awaiting COVID test results, or have been in contact with a known postive person, we ask that you remain home. If you are high risk or feel at all uncomfortable entering our business, please feel free to call when you get here and we will offer curbside service for you.

We will be putting all clients and patients directly into exam rooms and getting a brief history. The examination will be held back in our treatment area in order to keep an appropriate distance from one another. After the examination of your pet, the doctor will come into the room to discuss the exam findings. Please be respectful of our staff as they are doing the best under these circumstances. We ask for your kindness and patience during this time.

Thanks again for your business and continued understanding during these ever-changing times.

We are following the current recommendations of the AVMA and CDC and will update those recommendations and change our policies as needed.

Extra Precautions Being Taken & What To Expect

We have taken extra measures to implement even more rigorous than usual cleaning schedule and additional cleaning procedures that include disinfecting all door handles, front counter, credit card machines, and other frequently touched surfaces in the clinic. We will continue very frequent hand washing and ask our staff not to come to work if they or someone in their family is coughing, has a fever, or sick in any way.

Our doctors may choose to examine your pet in an exam room. You will be directed into an exam room upon arrival rather than waiting in the lobby. However, please understand that no hand shaking, or close contact will be initiated. This means that we may have to take your pet into the back treatment area to take temperatures, give vaccines and perform exams and nail trims as some owners like to hold their animals during this procedure. Alternatively, in order to increase social distancing, if you would prefer the option we can take your pet from your car when you arrive, bringing them inside for their examination and returning them to you outside in your car when they are finished. Simply call us at 307-472-5105 when you arrive. Patient history and payment information may be taken over the phone as well. During this time please be aware that this change may increase wait times and/or appointment times so please plan accordingly. We are, of course, allowing owners to come in for final good-byes for any euthanized pet.

How You Can Help

- Please do not bring any additional people with you to your appointment.

- Please call first instead of stopping by so we can have your medications or food order ready to go.

- If anyone in your family is sick, please call us to reschedule your appointment. If your pet has a medical issue and rescheduling is not an option, please call us and one of our doctors will be happy to discuss the best way to proceed either thru telemedicine services or via videos/pictures sent to our email. Please be aware, that any services given via telephone or otherwise may be charged a consultation fee.

We want to continue to do our best to serve our community and we will update you with any pertinent information as any guidelines may change. We will remain open as long as our staff is healthy and we are able to provide your pets with quality veterinary care.
